对高职外向型专业英语教学改革的几点思考

Some Considerations of English Teaching Reform for International-orientation Specialties in High Vocational Colleges

高职外向型专业的毕业生就业岗位中涉外活动是日常工作的一部分,英语沟通技能是岗位技能中核心部分,沟通内容多与岗位日常工作相关,难度不大,多涉及相关术语,模式化程度较高。这些专业大多进行了很大的改革,但对与专业相关的英语实践技能训练仍普遍不足,这些外向型专业应加大加快对英语教学的改革,这样才能保证这些专业的改革和建设平稳发展,有利于实现其人才培养目标。

International-orientation specialties are aimed to get their students well trained in English communicating skills as that is one of the core capabilities for the staff-to-be in the career field of international trading,tourism,foreign affair secretary and hotel service.Such skills are mostly focused on related routine,technically not very tough but required very frequently.The paper presents the suggestions for improving approaches in English teaching in these specialties at higher vocational colleges.
