Oxidation of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes by Mixed Acid

摘要 利用SEM,XRD,Raman和XPS等手段分析了体积比为3:1的浓硫酸和浓硝酸的混合溶液对碳纳米管氧化前后的结构、形貌及表面特性。结果表明,混合强酸氧化后的碳纳米管变短、松散、端部开口、杂质减少;氧化后碳纳米管结构未受到严重破坏,但碳纳米管缺陷程度有所增加、有序度下降;氧化前后的碳纳米管表面均有一定量的—COH,—C=O和—COOH含氧基团,但酸化后的碳纳米管表面氧含量增加,且主要体现在—COOH基团量的增加上。 The oxidation of MWCNTs by mixed acid with the proportions of 1 v nitric acid and 3 v sulfuric acid is characterized by SEM,XRD,Raman and XPS.The results show that MWCNTs can be cut into short lengths and impurities can be removed in mixed acids.The treatment did not damage the structure of MWCNTs,but the degree of defect in the MWCNTs is increased and the order of MWCNTs is decreased.The oxygen content is increased on the surface of MWCNTs owing to the increase of —COOH.
