翻译适应选择论视域下谈忠实性的限度

Study on Faithfulness Limitation from the Perspective of Approach to Translation as Adaptation and Selection

语言与文化的差异以及交际意图、译者自身素质和社会时代背景等因素使翻译不可能完全忠实于原文.从翻译适应选择论的角度对翻译作品进行分析发现译者多维转换程度因素和译者素质因素是影响翻译作品的忠实性的主要原因.

Because of the differences between languages and cultures,communicative purposes,translator’s skills limitations,social backgrounds and other factors,it is impossible for translation to achieve absolute faithfulness to its source text.Through analysis of translated works from the perspective of translation theory of adaptation and selection,main causes that impose their effects on faithfulness of translation could be concluded as factors of translator’s transformations in dimensions and translator’s qualities.
