对１９８５～１９９５年广西７～１８岁城乡男女壮族学生身体形态、机能的动态分析结果表明：形态生长发育水平有了较大提高，体格发育速度较快；肺活量水平有所提高；身体发育的匀称度有一定改善．在生长发育状况上城乡存在着明显差异．主要形态指标身高、体重和胸围每１０年平均增长值多数明显落后于全国同期水平。

By analyzing the developments of body shape and function of seven to eighteen-year-old students of Zhuang Nationality in urban and rural areas, the conclusion is as follows; The growth and development level of their body shape has been raised greatly. They grow faster. Their vital capacity has been improved. Besides their stately symmetry of their figures, their type of figure has become sturdier. There exists obvious difference between city students and country ones in terms of growth and development. By every decade the average growth value of their main body shape targets such as height, weight and chest measurement are clearly far behind the national level of the same period, which makes the original gap wider.
