迄今为止,国内外学术界对广西壮族土司制度的研究已取得了令人瞩目的成绩,足值称道。与此同时,研究中的缺失和存在的问题依然不少,需要我们认真地加以总结和研究。不断挖掘新史料,创新研究方法,开拓新的研究领域,应成为今后土司制度研究的着力点和主攻方向。加强土司学术研究与地方的互动,不失为今后土司制度研究深入发展的有效路径。

So far,it was well worth praise that the research of Guangxi Zhuang chieftain system has made remarkable achievements both in China and abroad.In the meantime,there were some lacks and problems in the research that we should seriously summarize and study again.Constantly digging new historical materials,innovating research methods,developing an area of study,should be the focus and the main direction in the future research of Chieftain System.It was an effective way of developing the studies of chieftain system to strengthen the interaction between the academic research of chieftain and the Local.
