The operationl performance and reliability of HV instrument transformers is a very interesting subject. This paper introduced one type of new 110kV current transformer which has reached higher levels in the technical and economical aspects, as well as fully considered its reliability and users special needs. Some questions about design and operating of current transtormers have also been discussed in this paper.
