Enlightenment is originated from Britain in 17th century. Mechanics revolution of Newton, as important component of Enlightenment in Britain, is pregnant with spirit of the times in 18th century, and provides French Enlightenment with rich thought resources and methodological basis. In order to criticize religion, politics and metaphysics, the methods of Newton is transplanted to fields of humanity and society in French Enlightenment, meanwhile which leads to misunderstanding for the though of Newton.
