地理标志制度主用于农产品与食品的知识产权保护以及其品牌培育等。阐述了我国国家地理标志产品的保护现状及发展。湖南现有国家地理标志产品17种,针对湖南省现有国家地理标志产品保护存在的问题提出了针对性的建议及发展策略。

National protected geographic indication system is mainly used to protect the intellectual properties and breed the brand of agricultural products and foodstuffs. The protection status and development of national protected geographic indication products in China were introduced. There are 17 kinds of national protected geographic indication products in Hunan Province. According to the problems existed in present protection of national protected geographic indication products in Hunan Province, some corresponding countermeasures and developmental strategies Were proposed.
