This paper addresses on the handover of WLAN and mobile WiMAX network.It first tells of WLAN and WiMAX,then describes IEEE 802.21,finally,discusses that how IEEE 802.21 could help handover management of the heterogeneous network,and gives the detailed handover procedure.All this indicates that the use of IEEE 802.21 could effectively realize the handover between WLAN and mobile WiMAX.
