AKD对滑石粉和绢云母的改性效果与作用机理 被引量:8

摘要 用AKD改性滑石粉和绢云母,滑石粉对AKD的吸附量和改性后的疏水性均大于绢云母,且在AKD与填料的质量比较高的情况下,改性滑石粉的施胶效果好于改性绢云母的。AKD吸附于滑石粉和绢云母上,不降低施胶效果,并显著提高纸张抗张强度。利用FT-IR、XPS等手段就AKD对填料改性机理的分析表明,AKD通过物理吸附沉积在滑石粉和绢云母上。在改性填料悬浮液的放置过程中,吸附于绢云母上的AKD比吸附于滑石粉上的水解速度慢,且其内酯环基团与绢云母表面的活性基团发生了某种化学结合。 Talc powder adsorbs more AKD than sericite and the AKD modified talc powder shows higher hydrophobicity than the modified sericite. The sizing performance of the modified talc powder is better than that of the modified sericite at higher mass ratio of AKD to filler. The incorporation of AKD with the fillers does not reduce the paper strength by filling and sizing while remains similar sizing efficiency with that of AKD emulsion. The modification mechanism of AKD modified fillers was analyzed by means of FT-IR and XPS. The results indicate that AKD is deposited on the talc powder and sericite mainly as an amorphous form by physical adsorption. The hydrolysis of the AKD deposited on sericite is slower than that on talc powder when the modified fillers stand for a long time in water suspension. The AKD on sericite chemically reacts with the active groups of sericite surface through its functional group of lactone ring.
