摘要
通过在造纸涂料中添加不同类型及用量的TiO2,探索TiO2对含高得率浆(HYP)涂布纸返黄的抑制作用。研究结果表明,金红石型TiO2具有更好的屏蔽紫外线能力,可有效减少含HYP涂布纸的返黄现象,降低光致老化引起的纸张色差。随着TiO2用量的增加,含HYP涂布纸白度稳定性提高。当金红石型TiO2添加量为3份时,含20%HYP的涂布纸的白度稳定性与不含TiO2全化学浆涂布纸的白度稳定性相当。
Due to the rapid development of high yield pulping technology and the unique properties of high-quality high-yield pulp, such as higher bulk and opacity, high-yield pulps are becoming increasingly used to produce high value-added fine papers that are traditionally produced with chemical pulps exclusively. However, due to the presence of a large amount of lignin, there is a concern with the long term brightness stability of HYP-containing papers. In this research, different kinds of TiO2 were added to coating colors to improve the light fastness properties of coated papers containing high-yield pulps. It was found that rutile TiO2 was especially effective in improving brightness stability of coated papers. At a dosage of 3 parts of rutile TiO2, the brightness stability of coated paper containing 20% of HYP was found to be even similar to the papers made of 100% chemical pulp and coated with conventional coating color.
