图书馆实行开放式服务的实践及其现实意义——以厦门市图书馆为例

The Practice and the Significance of Library's Open Service——Take Xiamen Library as Example

实行开放式服务是图书馆适应新时期读者要求、提高自身服务能力和服务水平的必然选择。本文结合厦门市图书馆实行开放式服务的实践经验,对图书馆实行开放式服务在方便读者利用图书馆、体现现代图书馆的以人为本理念、提高图书馆办馆效益、提升图书馆的社会形象和节省人力资源等方面存在的现实意义进行探讨。

Carrying out open service is the necessity of the library to adapt to reader＇s needs in new time and improve service ability and service level. Based on the practice and experience of Xiamen Library＇s open service, this paper discusses the significance of library＇s open service, such as promoting the readers convenience in using library, embodying people-oriented conception of library, advancing the library＇s benefit and ,social im age, economizing buman resources and so on.
