悲与喜的奏鸣——论彭家煌小说的艺术风格

Sonata of Melancholy and Joy:on Artistic Style of Peng Jiahuang's Novels

在20世纪中国早期乡土作家中,彭家煌是值得关注的。他的小说没有用纯客观的描写来勾画乡村和城镇底层人民的苦难,而是在充满喜剧幽默的反讽叙述中,隐含着深沉的悲哀,倾注着满腔的愤懑;他所绘制的湖南家乡洞庭湖滨的风俗画及表现都市生活的名篇佳构,其鲜明的创作风格,很容易与其他乡土作家区别开来。然而,由于生命之花匆匆凋零,致使他成为乡土文学作家群中永久的沉默者。但是,他贡献于我们的、具有审美超越性的文学价值不应当被忽略。

Peng Jiahuang is a writer deserved to be followed with interest in his contemporary Chinese writers who lived in the early twentieth century. He did not objectively describe misery of the people at the bottom of the society, but in his humorous irony he showed deep melancholy and anger. And his unique artistic style makes his novels easily distinguished from other writers＇. Since he died in a young age, he was not as well-known as other local-color literature writers, but his surpassing literary contribution should not be neglected.
