The advancements of aviation ergonomic research at home and abroad in recent years were reviewed. Many advanced techniques have been used in man machine enviroment system abroad.The human factors issues caused by high automation attracted great attention of foreign ergonomists.The researches at home were focus on anthropometry,ergonomic evaluation of visual displays and personal protective equipments, measurement of work ability and workload. It is suggested that aviation ergonomic research in our country must be further enhanced.
