With the development of web-based remote examination system, security of data storage becomes an important issue. This paper discusses the performance of the examination system which data of it is stored under the DAS, NAS, SAN, IP - SAN mode. For the advantages and disadvantages, a available way to data storage is put forward. According to that, kinds of measures to make the data secure are discussed to ensure the normal operation of the examination system.
