复元活血汤原为治跌打损伤而设。已故老中医叶锦文老先生根据该方活血祛瘀,疏肝通络之功效特点,紧扣气滞血瘀之病机,异病同治。在肺癌胸痛、胸膜炎及支气管炎久咳胸痛以及白血病肝肿大之胁痛等疾病上广泛使用,收到较好的治疗效果。

Fu Yuan Huo Xue decoction was originally designed to treat traumatic injury.Based on its functions of promoting blood circulation to remove stasis and dredging the channels by soothing the liver,as well as the pathogenesis of qi stagnation and blood stasis,the deceased TCM doctor Ye Jinwen used it widely in the treatment of pectoralgia caused by lung cancer,pleuritis,pectoralgia caused by prolonged cough due to bronchitis and hypochondriac pain due to leukemia hepatomegaly,and the effects were favorable.
