On Chinese Teaching in Cameroon

喀麦隆孔子学院在汉语教学推广方面成绩显著,由过去的几个培训班发展到拥有多个教学点和多种班级类型,大学里有汉语专业课、必修课、选修课,还有业余培训班等,学生也由原来的几十人发展到了成千上万。在师资力量严重不足的情况下,结合不同的教学对象采取不同的教学方法和策略是必要的。

The Confucius Institute in Cameroon has made great achievements in the promotion of Chinese teaching.Starting with only a few training classes,it now boasts a network of Chinese teaching that covers many schools across the country,offering various programs and training courses,and the enrollments have risen significantly in the last years,with less than 100 at the beginning but thousands today.This paper suggests that,given the understaffed training programs,different teaching methods and strategies be taken for different participants of Chinese learning.
