Since its debut, the Washington Consensus has been advocated by the western theorists to be universally valuable for economic development. It is of great influence on the development of most countries worldwide, including China. The theoretical viewpoints of the Consensus provide positive ideas worth China learning, but they also bring challenges. We should fully recognize both its positive and negative impacts, and put forward the great cause of China＇s reform and opening-up.
