乡村转型就是以乡村跨越式发展与城乡统筹为目标,以转变乡村传统空间为核心战略,带动农民、农业以及农村的其他方面的发展,从而从根本上转变乡村原本落后的生产与生活方式,进而形成城乡发展的良性互动循环,最终实现城乡经济、社会文化的统筹与可持续发展。比较于城市转型,乡村转型是一个新概念,也是一个新的问题。在全国上下轰轰烈烈的社会主义新农村规划与建设的过程中,乡村转型迅速成为一个新的关注热点与研究课题。

The objective of rural transition is leaping development on the principle of urbanrural integration. Its key strategy is the transition of traditional rural space, by adopting some effective measures, to advance other aspects of the countryside, and then basically transform the modes of rural living and production towards sustainable development. Comparing with urban transform ation, rural transition is a completely new concept, and becomes a new hot topic of scholarship.
