Xu Dishan＇ s famous novel ＂Zhui Wang Lao Zhu＂ has always been thought filling with the rich religious atmosphere, which publicized Xu＇ s Buddhist thought. The author of this paper holds that it is not necessary the case, from the heroine, it is revealed that the involvement in the world of Confucianism and moral self-cultivation is the way for the world of being indifferent to personal gains and losses.
