建设天然气输送管网是天然气储运技术发展的特点之一。人们从长期的实践经验中认识到，实现输气管道网络化，比单条管道具有更多的优越性。本文论述了输气管网的职能和作用，介绍了当今世界上几个主要输气管网特别是前苏联统一供气系统的主要情况，阐明了世界输气管网的发展趋势。

To build natural gas pipeline networks is one of development characteristics of gas transportation and storage technologies. On the basis of long term practical experience it is known that gas pipeline network has a lot of advantages compared with single gas pipeline. This paper explains functions and roles of gas pipeline network,introduces main gas pipeline network in the World,in particular,pipe network of Former Sovien Union,examines development trend of World's gas pipeline networks.
