摘要
针对应用语言学论文引言的特点,对Swales(1990)的CARS模型进行修正,并在此基础上对中英文期刊应用语言学论文的引言结构进行量化对比分析。结果发现,中英文引言结构较为接近,但是英文引言较中文引言结构更为复杂多变,英文作者对Move3的使用策略更为灵活多样,文献回顾的使用也更频繁。这一研究旨在为初始涉足研究领域的教师、研究人员和研究生提高中英文引言的写作质量提供指导。
On the basis of the features of introductions in applied linguistics articles, by modifying the CARS model of Swales(1990), the paper conducts a contrastive study on the rhetorical structure of introductions in Chinese and English applied linguistics articles. The study shows, Chinese and English introductions have no significant difference in both macro and micro-structures apart from more complicated structure, more diversified and flexible options of Steps in Move 3, and more frequent adoption of literature review in English introductions. The results can provide pedagogical implications for those novel academies and postgraduates to improve their introduction writing.
