预设不仅是语义、语用层面的语言现象,更是依靠语境和话语参与者对对方的心理、认知状态的相互假定,而被掌握并运用到话语的理解与生成之中去的一种修辞现象。在对文本的解读中,预设是表达和接受的认识前提。本文就是从修辞的角度来分析作为中国第一部白话文小说《狂人日记》中的预设。

The default is a kinds of rhetorical phenomena which is not only the linguistic phenomena of semantic and pragmatic, but also depend on context and mutual assumed of the participant to the other＇s psychological and cognitive status, then is mastered and applied to the understanding and generation of discourse. In the reading of the text, default is the prerequisite of understanding of expression and eoguize. This article is from the perspective of rhetorical to analyse the default in Diary of a Madman as China＇s first modem Chinese novel.
