The detection of terahertz technology and its developments are mainly introduced. The terahertz wave＇s detection methods, main characteristics and products, important academic and application values are briefly described. In addition, the research progress in the domain of terahertz wave is summarized. Finally, the bright future of its developments and applications are prospected.
