Zinc ferrite magnetic powder was an important material, with good gas - sensing and photocatalytic and good photoelectric conversion properties. The preparations and uses of zinc ferrite attracted more and more attention in recently years because of its special properties. Some preparation methods of nanometer zinc ferrite powders were introduced, and the status of the development of these methods were analyzed.
