Perception of Climate Change in the Locals of Lantang Region,Nepal

叙述了尼泊尔人对气候变化的认知情况。指出,只有民众深切理解,认同了气候变化对环境带来的影响,才能保证政府的政策和措施得以贯彻执行。

Climate change is one of the top priority issues in the world. The international community is specifically concerned about the climate change. The definition of the climate change is known in Nepal from a western source. Nepal Government must take initiative and seriously conduct studies of how climate change will affect Nepal？ Nepal being a frontline country could suffer seriously. In spite being so much of awareness internationally, how do Nepali people perceive the climate change problem is discussed in this paper？ Climate change is one of the macro level effects, several institutions have projected about the climate change but how the locals are a perceiving this change in their daily lives is discussed in this paper. It is quite difficult to implement any policies and measures unless public has deep perception and appreciation.
