摘要
现行的多媒体数据传输大多没有拥塞控制,容易造成网络拥塞和不公平竞争,而用传统TCP传输多媒体数据则存在传输速率波动大的问题。文章针对多媒体数据在网络中的传输特点,利用模拟器进行仿真研究,验证了基于窗口调节的GAIMD拥塞控制方法在引入α、β控制参数后用于传输多媒体数据,具有较好的平滑性和TCP友好性。
Most of current multi-media data transmission without congestion control easily leads to net congestion and unfair competition. Meanwhile traditional Transmission Control Protocol(TCP)brings high rate fluctuations in multi-media data transmission. According to the characteristics of multimedia data transmission, this paper carries out the simulation research via simulator, and applies Window-based General Additive Increase and Multiplicative Decrease (GAIMD)congestion control to transmit multi-media data, after parameters of α andβ are introduced. The results prove that this control strategy can realize quite smooth and TCP-friendly transmission.
