关于“双塔”定名之辨误

Discrimination and correction for the denomination of Twin-towers

"双塔"是我国佛寺内两塔并列的一种建筑布局,有其特定的含义。不是任何两座塔都可以定名为"双塔"。但因为对"双塔"定名缺乏较全面的认识,有误定名为"双塔"者。为了厘清"双塔"命名的错误,对"双塔"的含义和命名条件,进行了论述,对我国著名的"双塔"进行了介绍,同时对误称"双塔"者进行了辨析,以便为"双塔"正名。

Twin- towers are the architectural composition of two towers in Chinese temples. And this way of composition has special meanings. Not all double towers can be called Twin - towers, therefore, wrong denominations of Twin- towers are frequent in China due to the lack of overall understanding of Twin - towers. In this paper, we discuss the significations and denomination conditions of Twin - towers, introduce famous Twin - towers in China, and discriminate the wrongly called Twin- towers in China,so as to correctly name Twin- towers.
