在子网掩码研究中,总是把子网掩码仅作为区分IP地址中网络号与主机号的工具,很少用于对网段的管理。作者利用子网掩码分割有效的子网段,更充分的利用IP地址资源,并将其运用到各个单位或部门中,提高了网络的管理效益。

Subnet mask is often used as atol to sepavate host number of the IP address from network number, but less to manage network segment in the past research. To make best use of the IP address resource, the paper divides subnet into several segments by subnet mask, thus impraing the network management in vanious departments or divisions.
