禁忌是渗入到人们生活的方方面面的民俗现象,禁忌是指在社会活动中,人类主观上认为某人或某事物是神圣的、不洁的、危险的而被禁止的言行或是心理上被抑制的言行控制模式的总和。禁忌作为一种文化现象,它具有促进文化认知,实现文化整合,进行社会控制和开展道德教化的功能。

As one of the social customs, taboos exist in all the aspects of man＇ s lives. A taboo refers to a ban, a prohibition or an inhibition resulting from social customs or emotional aversion, excluding something from use, approach, or mention because of its sacred and inviolable nature. As one of the cultural phenomenon, taboos functions as helping cultural organization, integrating different cultures, controlling societies and developing moral education.
