Struggling between Tradition and Modern:A Restricted Survey of Modern Women's Confused Cultural Identity in Giving Birth

以消费科技、追求时尚、理念西化为主要特征的"现代"女性在进入生育的生命周期时面临着来自家庭(族)的、社会的、工作的,更有自我文化认同的冲突。这些现象反映了所谓的"现代"女性在生育文化认同中存在形式上的现代与观念上的传统冲突的局面。以传统的"婆媳冲突"为直接表现形式,这一群体的年轻妈妈依然囿于传统的父权制观念的认同中,并没有完全走出这种观念的限制。

When ertering into the reproductive cycle,the so-called modern women,who are featured with high-tech consumption,latest fashion and Westernized mind,are facing the conflicts from all aspects including family,society,work and even their own cultural identity,which are shown on such thoughts as hoping husband＇s family for babysitting or offering the fees for it or linking it with caring for the aging parents,etc.The conflict between mothers and daughters-in-law is the direct form of expression of these ideas,reflecting their deep ambivalence between modern appearance and traditional mind.The survey discovered that the collective young mothers are still caged in the traditional patriarchal ideas unconsciously.
