The technology of car dumper unloading and technology of bottom-opened unloading wagon are simply introduced. Taking the reference of the actual example of technology of bottom-opened unloading wagon applied in Newcastle Port of Australia and combining with the practice of the project （phase two） of Shenhua Coal Terminal in Nanjiang Harbor District of Tianjin Port,the technology of bottom-opened unloading wagon is introduced in detail. At last, the characteristics of technology of car dumper unloading and technology of bottom-opened unloading wagon are contrasted, and the economic efficiency of the two car-unloading technology is analyzed.
