研究清代湖广私盐问题,在史料的应用上,过去人们更多的是从实录、官书、别史中爬梳史料,相对而言,对于档案资料的应用明显重视不够。事实上,中国第一历史档案馆馆藏《朱批奏折》、《军机处录副奏折》等档案资料中,也保存了大量有关湖广私盐问题的记载。比如有关私盐种类、私盐运销方式、私盐个案等方面的记载,均一一具全。这些重要的史料为我们研究湖广、两淮,乃至全国的私盐问题,均提供了重要的依据。

To research on the problems of illegal salt in Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong Guangxi in the Qing Dynasty, people usually used chronicle or privately compiled historical files, but neglected the use of file. In fact, Zhu Pi Zouzhe and Jun Ji Chu Fu Zouzhe recorded much about the problems, such as types, transportation and marketing, cases of illegal salt. These important historical files are important bases to research on illegal salt of Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong Guangxi and Huaibei and Huainan or even the whole country.
