试析COPI在我国大规模英语口语测试的应用前景

Oral proficiency test is a part of language test. In the large - scale oral proficiency test, with fewer examiners, more examinees, the reliability would be largely influenced by the extend to which the assessor （rater） conforms to the norms. By introducing the design features, testing procedure and the assessment of COPI, this paper finds that COPI could meet the demands of more and more people entering for the oral proficiency test with high reliability, bringing about a beneficial back - wash effect on the teaching and learning of oral English.
