The Medical Law of Southern Song China

南宋政府钵依北宋《宋刑统》,践行了十三方面的医事律令。规定了医生职业道德和医疗事故责任制,铲除了医药卫生行业的固疾,规范了民间医药习俗,确保了中成药质量,提高了中成药疗效和经济效益,对发展医药卫生事业和安定民生均有较大意义。

With reference to the Northern Song Song Xing Tong,the Southern Song Dynasty government carried out medical imperatives in thirteen aspects. These imperatives provided for doctor professional ethics and medical accountability,eradicated the stubborn illness of medical hygienic industry,standardized folk medicine practices,ensured the quality of Chinese patent medicine,improved the therapeutic effect of Chinese patent medicine and economic efficiency,had a great meaning for the development of medical hygienic cause and the stability of people＇s livelihood.
