Discussion on the Influence of Lubrication on gear Teeth Surface Damage

The cases of gear teeth surface damage like scoring,pitting and wearing are introduced in this paper.The damage causes including working conditions and lubrication mode are analyzed.Based on these cases,the influence of lubricants on gear teeth surface damage is described in detail.It is pointed that,if the appropriate lubrication mode is selected,the gear teeth surface damage can be avoided,the breakage can be reduced,and the equipment just can be in good condition.
