卵巢癌肿瘤干细胞是从卵巢癌组织及癌性腹腔积液中分离出的一小群具有自我更新和多向分化潜能的细胞，与卵巢癌的高复发率、强耐药性密切相关。因此治疗晚期卵巢癌的关键在于研究以肿瘤干细胞为靶向的治疗方法。随着对卵巢癌肿瘤干细胞的成功分离鉴定，为卵巢癌的基因靶向治疗提供了可能。

Ovarian cancer stem cells are a small group of cells with self-renewal and potential of multidirectional differentiation,which are isolated from ovarian cancer and its malignant ascites. It is considered that they are closely related to the high recurrence rate and strong drug- resistance of ovarian cancer. Hence, targeting cancer stem cells is critical for the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer. With the successful isolation and identification of ovarian cancer stem cells, the gene-targeted therapy for ovarian carcinoma may be provided.
