With Siemens M420 transducer and Siemens S7-200 controller applied in the textile equipment, the basic principle of cotton combing machine control system was introduced. With the help of USS protocol imple- mentation, the communication between S7-200 controller and M420 transducer was realized. And the con- verter parameter reading and applieation were described.
