新中国成立以来,中国共产党历代中央领导集体对社会主义现代化发展战略理论进行了不断探索。以毛泽东为核心的第一代领导集体,对社会主义现代化发展战略进行的探索既取得了成就,也有深刻的教训;以邓小平为核心的第二代领导集体,创立了社会主义初级阶段发展战略理论;以江泽民为核心的第三代领导集体丰富和发展了社会主义初级阶段发展战略理论;以胡锦涛为总书记的党中央,深入贯彻落实科学发展观,使党关于社会主义现代化发展战略的理论和实践达到了新的境界和新的水平。

After the establishment of new China,the generations of central leadership collectives of the Chinese Communist Party have been exploring the theory of socialist modernization development strategy.The first generation of central collective leadership with Mao Zedong as its core studied the modernization development strategy of socialism and gained achievements yet with some lessons.The second generation of central collective leadership with Deng Xiaoping as its core originated the theory of primary socialist development strategy.The third generation of central collective leadership with Jiang Zemin as its core has pushed the theory of socialist development strategy.The CPC Central Committee,with Hu Jintao as General Secretary,has been applying the Scientific Outlook on Development thoroughly and make the socialism theory and practice get to a new and higher level.
