两种杜鹃的生物学特性及园林观赏价值初步研究

A Preliminary Study on the Biological Characteristics and Ornamental Value of Two Spectes of RHODODENDRON from Qinghai

对循化孟达,大通大坂山天然分布的黄毛杜鹃(Rhododendron rufum )、陇蜀杜鹃(Rh.przewalskii)的形态学特征、生长发育规律及园林价值进行了研究.结果表明:两种杜鹃生长缓慢,侧根较为发达、呈水平方向生长,枝条生长表现为初长、快长、慢长和趋停.4月中下旬芽开始萌动,7月上旬基本停止生长,5月下旬至6月上旬开花,9月下旬果实成熟.单花花期9～12d.花大、色白、芳香、叶革质常绿,树型优美,具有较高的园林观赏价值.

The characteristics of morphology and biology, and ornamental value of Rhododendron ru-fum and Rh. przewalskii were observed in Xunhua and Datong of Qinghai province. The result shows that both of them grow slowly and have well - developed Lateral roots which extend along level. The development of shoots divids into sprout, rapid growth, slow growth and stagnation. Shoots begin to sprout in the second and last ten days of April and stop development in the first ten days of July. Flowers begin to blossom in the last ten days of May and the first ten days of June. Fruit are ripe in the last ten days of September. The flowering period of one flower is 9 to 12 days.They have high ornamental value that flower is big,white,fragrant and leaves are evergreen and the shape of tree is very beautiful.
