On Energy Conservation of Main Sintering Suction Fan and Variable Frequency Speed Control of Synchronous or Asynchronous Motor

摘要 烧结主抽风机采用变频调速可以有效节能并解决其启动问题,是现在和将来的发展趋势。同步电机与异步电机变频调速相比,同步机效率会稍高,但差别很小;缺点是:同步机本身及变频系统复杂,造价及维护费用昂贵,而同步电机改善电网功率因数的作用因变频器的隔离而消失。建议烧结主抽风机采用异步电机变频调速系统。 Adopting variable frequency speed control for the main sintering suction fan can effectively save energy and solve the starting problems, and it is the development trend for the present and for the future. Compared with the asynchronous motor, the synchronous motor may have a slight higher efficiency but with small difference between them. The disadvantage is that the synchronous motor itself and the variable frequency control system are complex, their costs and maintenance fees are expensive while the function of synchronous motor for improving the power factor of power grid will disappear due to the isolation of frequency converter. It is suggested that the asynchronous motor frequency control system should be adopted for the main sintering suction fan.
