浅谈EPS在桥台台背软土地基施工中的应用

Elementary Discussion on Application of EPS in Soft Soil Subgrade Construction at Back of Bridge Abutment

该文结合上海A5嘉金高速公路的桥台台背EPS施工实际情况,介绍和分析聚苯乙烯泡沫(expanded polystyrenc,简称EPS)作为一种新型的路基填筑材料在软土地基施工中的应用。EPS是一种性能优良的路基轻质填料,具有轻质、高强、较强的化学稳定性和水稳定性、良好的力学性能,能较好地解决软基的过度沉降和差异沉降,以及桥台和道路相接处的差异沉降,减少桥台的侧向压力和位移等问题。该文着重对EPS的物理化学性能、力学性能、EPS作为路基轻质填料的路用指标、EPS在道路工程中的应用等方面作了初步的介绍和分析。

According to the case of EPS construction at the back of bridge abutment of Shanghai A5 Jiajin Expressway,the article introduces and analyzes that the expanded polystyrene(for short EPS) is taken as a new roadbed filling material to use in the construction of soft soil subgrade.EPS is a good performance of the light roadbed stuffing,which has the light,high strong and stronger chemical stability and water stability,and has the good mechanics performance.It can better solve the over-settlement and the different settlement of soft subgrade,and the different settlement at the connection of the bridge abutment and road,and decrease the sidewise pressure and displacement of bridge abutment.The article preliminarily introduces and analyzes the physical chemical performance and mechanics performance of EPS,and the using index of EPS taken as the light stuffing of roadbed and the application of EPS in the road engineering.
