Social Change and Institutional Construction in a Transitional Country:Understanding Chinese Experience

制度的持久性与变迁是制度研究中两个核心的议题。作为一个转型经济国家,中国过去30年来发生的重大社会变迁既是在经济与理念层面发生的制度变迁的结果,也是国家行动与政党体制的制度持久性的体现。在积累了一定的物质基础、治理与组织建设经验后,如何理解制度变迁与路径依赖之间的关联仍然是论证中国未来制度建构的一个关键问题。

In the field of institutional studies,durability and change are two core subjects. As a transitional country with a maturing market economy,the significant social changes occurred in the past thirty years are mainly subject to the consequences of institutional changes both in economy and ideology,it also indicates the role of institutional durability of state action and the party regime. China has accumulated its provisions and experience of governance and organizational building per se,but it is still a vibrant issue for the researchers to understand the link between institutional change and path dependence toward further arguments on institutional construction in future.
