The Internal Phonological Differences of Xiangxiang(湘乡) Dialect in Hunan Province

依照共时平面上存在的语音差异以及当地人的语感,湖南湘乡方言可分为四片:城关片、棋梓片、壶天片和金石片。湘乡方言内部的差异主要体现在地域上,各片内部村与村之间语音差异的描写应证了当地流传的说法——"十里不同音"。

According to the phonological difference and the native＇s language sense, the division of Xiangxiang（湘乡 ） will be four pieces： the Chengguan-Quantang group, the Qizi group, the Hutian group, the Jinshi group. The internal phonological differences of Xiangxiang（湘乡） dialect are mainly embodied in the region. The describing of the phonological differences between villages can prove the opinion completely that the phonological features are different even in five kilometres.
