空巢老人的养老意愿及其影响因素——基于苏州的实证研究

Desires for Old-age Support of the Empty Nest Elderly and its Influencing Factors:An Empirical Research Based on the Survey in Suzhou

以2008年苏州城乡老年空巢家庭养老状况的调查资料为基础,对城乡空巢老人的养老意愿及其影响因素进行了分析。超过半数的空巢老人不愿意与子女共同居住,而机构养老也并非空巢老人的最爱。在影响空巢老人是否愿意与子女共同居住的因素中,户籍因素最为重要,其次是与子女关系因素,最后是房屋建筑面积因素;而在影响空巢老人是否愿意入住养老机构的众多因素中,文化程度、儿子数量和养老金(养老补贴)数量这三个变量尤为重要。

Based on a survey of old-age support status of the elderly empty nest family in urban and rural Suzhou in 2008,this paper describes the desires for old-age support of the empty nest elderly,and analyzes the main factors that influence these old people＇s choice.It shows that more than half of the empty nest elderly don＇t like to live with their children,at the same time nursing home is not the favorite choice for these old people either.It also shows that the registered permanent residence,the relationship between the empty nest elderly and their children and the area of their house are the three most important factors that determine the choice of whether living with their children for these empty nest elderly.While the choice of whether living in nursing home is mainly influenced by the education level,the amount of son and the amount of old-age pension.
