随着民办图书馆办馆规模的扩大和人员的激增,馆员的水平需要提高。阐述了开展图书馆员继续教育的意义,探讨了适合民办高校图书馆员进行继续教育的途径和方法。

With the enlargement of the scale of private libraries and the increasing of the number of librarians, the level of librarians needs to be improved. This paper expounds the significance for developing the continuous education of librarians, and probes into some ways and methods which are suitable for developing the continuous education of private university librarians.
