江宁区博物馆藏明陈瑄家族墓志考

On CHEN Xuan’s Family Epitaph of the Ming Dynasty Collected in Jiangning Museum

江宁区博物馆收藏有四块陈瑄家族墓志,志主分别为陈瑄之子陈佐夫妇、陈鞠庄夫妇。由于陈瑄及其家族在明代历史上占有极其重要的地位,而《明史》对陈瑄后人的记载较少,因此,墓志丰富的内容对陈瑄家族历史研究具有很高的史料价值。

There are four pieces of epitaphs of CHEN Xuan＇ s family collected in Jiangning Museum. The owners are two of CHEN Xuan＇ s sons CHEN Zuo and CHEN Juzhuang and their spouses. CHEN Xuan and his family ever occupied very important positions in the Ming Dynasty, but there were only few records of CHEN Xuan＇ s descendents in Ming Shi, so the epitaphs can surely be regarded as valuable materials to the study of the history of CHEN Xuan＇ s family.
