The thoughts of Xia Tian-min＇s works come from the author＇s understanding and concern for those living at the bottom of the society. Based on his life experiences and emotions, the author successfully presents the readers with his faith and respect to literature, life, times and to the land as well as his concern for the value of live and the contemplation over hardship.
