对高校扩招与高校教学质量关系的思考

On the Interaction between the Enrollment Scale and Teaching Quality in Colleges and Universities

自1999年起,中国高校实行扩招政策已经10余年。一直以来,高校扩招受到了社会各界的广泛关注,并一度成为热门话题。事实上,扩招以后,高校在各方面都受到了不同程度的影响,但是扩招绝不是高校教学质量下降的根本原因,二者之间完全可以建立良好的互动关系:一方面,高校招生规模的扩大,对学校办学质量提出了更高的要求,带来了学科建设的良好契机,师资力量成为首要内需,学科管理体系务必完善,加速了高校综合素质的提升;另一方面,提高教学质量,可以帮助高校扩招不再盲目,并为进一步扩招提供保障。

Since 1999, college expansion policy has been implemented for nearly 10 years in China. The college enrollment has always received widespread attention, and once became a hot topic of the society. In fact, after enrollment expanding, colleges in the area have been subject to varying degrees of impact, but expanding is in no way the fundamental reason of decrease in the quality of higher education, good interaction can be established between them： on the one hand,with the expanding enrollment in colleges and universities, higher teaching quality is asked; good opportunities are brought in; teachers has becomed the first demand; the system of subject administration should be perfected; the improvement of colleges and universities is accelerated,on the other hand, to heighten the quality of teaching is helpul for the expanded enrollmen in colleges and universities no longer blindness, besides, it provides assurance of expanding uheriorly.
