During the field observation on female sex workers in different parts of China, the authors gradually found out that the ethnic cultural differences in the sense of organizational anthropology had originated from the old ethnic concept, systems and customs. The cultural characteristics manifested in the contemporary sex transation are also observed. The findings eventually provided important grounds for effective health education and HIV/STI prevention, and empirically illustrated how anthropological theories seized proper chance to be applied.
